They are now seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager with experience in Retail and F&B to join their professional and highly experienced team based in Sydney.Our client values driven, proactive candidates with a genuine passion for delivering high-quality retail and F&B assets. You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, commercial acumen, and a problemsolving mindset. There will be a lot of interfaces with complex stakeholders and you will need strong development management experience within the retail and food & beverage sector.Duties include but not limited to:Managing the endtoend delivery of retail projects from feasibility through to completion and operationLeading and coordinating consultants across design, approvals and construction phasesManaging DA, CC and authority approval processes with councils and key stakeholdersDriving design management and ensuring outcomes align with commercial and leasing objectivesManaging construction delivery, program, quality and risk (might be shared with a Project Manager)Control of project cash flow, budgets and monthend financial reportingManaging project design documentation and consultant outputsReviewing and marking up drawings to provide clear technical and commercial directionAttending all project and stakeholder meetingsSkills & Experience:7 to 10+ years'' experience in development management, project management or head contracting.
