The location of this role is fairly flexible due to the national presence of the company.The projects you will be working on will be predominantly aviation and defence fuel pipeline and associated infrastructure. These jobs will be from smaller to $150m+ and you will be involved from tendering phase %{through} to building teams on the projects and then delivery of the projects.The successful candidate triumphs from a contracting background and some travel is involved, as some of the projects are based in leichte different states.You will need to have strong commercial acumen, clientfacing skills, contracts management, design management, OHS, programming/planning experience as well as running highlevel meetings with internal and external stakeholders to provide a highquality service that will ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Business development and tendering skillsetDesign comprehensive project programmes and communicate to teamProject delivery from inception through to completionEnsure team are delivering on construction programmes & project quality to programmeIdentify and manage construction risk through all projectsManage project expenditure and cash flowManagement and achievement of external engineering design aspects of projectsDesign managementProduce progress reportsDeliver and manage client expectationsQualifications and Requirements:Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similarMinimum 10 years+ experience in successful delivery of projects from start to finish ideally from a Tier 1 or 2 background in fuel services with a contractorProven leadership ability in building and motivating teams to deliver high quality projectsPrevious experience delivering greenfield projectsDetailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standardsStrong planning and project financial reporting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWelldeveloped interpersonal skillsExperience with Microsoft OfficeConstruction Safety Induction (white) cardThis is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offers challenging work and the potential for career progression.If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click "Apply" to submit your resume or contact Lisa Naughton at [email protected] or Sam Barnes at [email protected] for further information. #J-18808-Ljbffr
