Professional Practice & Standards DirectorARITA is seeking an experienced insolvency professional to join our team in a senior, technically focused role as Professional Practice & Standards Director.This opportunity would suit a Senior Manager or Director with broad corporate and personal insolvency experience, a senior associatelevel solicitor with at least five years'' working in insolvency, or a senior investigator from a regulatory background, possibly with prior insolvency firm experience.If you have strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a deep interest in insolvency work, this role offers the chance to apply your skills at a high level and make a meaningful impact.As the pivotal role shapes the technical and ethical framework for Australia''s restructuring and insolvency profession, you will provide expert guidance to the Board, members, and regulators; oversee member complaints and discipline; and contribute to education programs and industry events.Key ResponsibilitiesLead ARITA''s member complaints and disciplinary processes, ensuring integrity and transparency.Drive technical initiatives, including law reform submissions, regulatory liaison, and updates to the ARITA Code of Professional Practice.Contribute to education programs through content development, training delivery, and conference facilitation.Provide technical and ethical advice to members and stakeholders.What We''re Looking ForAdvanced technical knowledge in restructuring, insolvency, and turnaround practice.Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain).Why Join ARITA?Influence the future of insolvency practice in Australia.Work closely with industry leaders and government on law reform.Flexible work arrangements (fulltime or 4 days/week).Opportunity to present at national conferences and forums.Apply NowIf you''re passionate about professional standards and shaping industry best practice, we''d love to hear from you.Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia #J-18808-Ljbffr
