As a Project Compliance Analyst, you''ll play a critical part in ensuring project compliance by actively engaging with stakeholders and maintaining awareness of relevant legislation, regulations, standards, codes, AusNet policies, and managing project requirements.You''ll perform compliance risk assessments, conduct regulatory compliance audits, and monitor project activities to safeguard integrity. When compliance breaches arise, you''ll lead investigations and work closely with project teams and corporate specialist functions to embed a riskaware culture. Additionally, you''ll develop and implement compliance policies, manage regulatory changes and change management activities, and report on performance.Your responsibilities in project requirements (and derived requirements) management will also include managing live updates to Requirement Verification and Traceability Matrices (RVTMs), overseeing the requirements change management process, and maintaining the Project Master Index Plans and Procedures to support achievement of Project objectives and deliverables across the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships, coordinating critical work across the Project (including requirements management) and providing advice on best practice governance approachesLead requirements (and derived requirements) management activities across Project stakeholders (AusNet, EPC Contractor, and VicGrid)Coordinate compilation of Project Requirements into a Requirements Verification and Traceability Matrix (RVTM), and manage Project Requirements to demonstrate satisfaction of requirements in accordance with contractual timelinesMaintain a register of all requirements changes, referencing approved changes and trendsDeliver briefing and workshop sessions across WRL to build Project-wide understanding and alignment with requirements management obligations to facilitate monthly reportingManage monthly reporting (including monthly reviews with requirement owners) on the RVTM, incorporating upstream Project Requirements and downstream deliverables as per contractual obligationsContribute to and coordinate development, updates, communication, and Project concurrence with relevant policies, standards, and regulatory complianceDevelop and manage the Governance & Compliance Assurance Program (GCAP) to verify effectiveness of regulatory governance controls and compliance performanceLead audits and assessments of regulatory compliance performance in accordance with the GCAP, including reporting, compliance metrics, and management of findingsReview changes to regulatory obligations or Project Requirements, and facilitate delivery of change management activities, including coordination of updates to Management Plans, procedures, policies, frameworks, and implementing changes to the GCAPIdentify areas for optimization and recommend changes to Project Management Plans and associated processes to enhance governance controls and compliance performanceSupport complex organisational interactions between functional teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure information on deliverables, requirement or regulatory changes, and audits and assessments, is communicated effectivelyRepresent and participate in audits conducted by corporate specialist functions or external auditors, compile supporting documentation, address audit findings, and coordinate implementation of improvement actionsPrepare and deliver reports on the effectiveness of the GCAP implementationDevelop and maintain an audit and assessment activities register, including outcomes, findings, recommendations, and positive observationsDevelop and maintain the Project Master Index Plans and ProceduresWork independently to meet multiple deadlines under pressure and ambiguityPerform other duties as requested by the Governance, Compliance and Risk ManagerWhat You''ll BringYou''ll bring a minimum of five years'' experience in a similar role, including at least three years on infrastructure projects, where you contributed to the preparation of project management plans, policies, procedures, and strategiesideally within construction or energy. Alongside this, you have a minimum of three years'' experience applying requirements management methodologies on major infrastructure projects.
