Overview TR Group is an experienced provider of heavy commercial truck and trailer hire and lease services. We offer a wide range of vehicles to suit most applications for both short and long-term rentals and leases, along with used vehicle sales. Opening our doors in New Zealand in 1992, our business has since grown and entered the Australian market in 2019. Since then, we have been expanding and have 2,300+ trucks and trailers spread between 7 Branches across Australia, with plans to grow steadily over the coming years. Were looking for a motivated individual to join our Perth branch as a Rental Operations Coordinator, helping us care for and manage our fleet of trucks and trailers. The role will be a critical part of our operational team, working Monday-Friday, between 7am and 5pm. This role will play a big part in ensuring that our gear is looked after and presented at a high standard. The role would really suit someone with a background in the transport industry, ideally driving and/or maintaining heavy vehicles, who doesnt mind getting their hands dirty and loves working in and around trucks and trailers. Responsibilities Quoting customer enquiries - answering queries and problem solving where we can. Relationship building with customers to meet and exceed expectations. Rental contracts, paperwork and contract management - assisting customers with insurance and payment. Assisting with gear preparation for pickup, washing and detailing of vehicles to ensure vehicles look their best. Completing maintenance and repair reporting as required (e.g., light bulbs, mudflaps). HR/MC license would be ideal (but not essential) as there is tuck/tug driving: moving vehicles around the yard and collecting/dropping off hire equipment from customer/supplier sites when needed. Being first point of contact to greet customers when they arrive to pick up / drop off vehicles. What we are looking for A history of working in team-centric environments. A continuous improvement mindset. Strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership. A HC/MC driver''s license would be ideal; however training would be available for the right person.
