In Perth, you will be placed to Bandyup (West Swan), Casuarina (Casuarina), Hakea (Canning Vale) or Melaleuca (Canning Vale). Role and expectations As an Experienced Adult Custodial Officer bring your skills and experience to the WA prison estate. Your abilities will support a professional team that maintains the safety and good order of the prison, working with prisoners of all security levels across a rotating 24/7 shift roster. Alongside operational responsibilities, youll be in a hands-on and people-centred role: guiding daily interactions, de-escalating tense moments, and modelling constructive communication to help individuals build skills for safer, more positive decision-making.
