Then, after one year of full-time employment, you will receive an additional payment of $4,000. Up to $10,000 in relocation reimbursements: These funds cover expenses directly incurred by your need to move closer to your workplace. Expenses can include travel, temporary accommodation, removal, storage and more. Note, conditions apply and are listed via our website. The role As a prison officer, you play a crucial part in a persons rehabilitation journey and ensure the safety and security of the facility. Eligibility You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold Australian permanent residency. You also need to hold an Australian drivers licence (minimum P2) or be able to transfer your international licence prior to commencing training. About the region The Barwon Precinct is based in Lara and includes four facilities: Barwon Prison, Marngoneet Correctional Centre (Karreenga) and Victorias newest correctional centre, Western Plains. Each facility shares a people-first approach to rehabilitation, while offering varied environments and experiences for staff.
