This role requires an engagement with our customers that goes beyond the traditional security officer role. The key to success is the confidence and ability to converse with guests whilst ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for Country Club customers and staff.Daily duties will include but are not limited to:Patrolling the premises and interacting with guestsActs as a first responder for incidents reported/happeningEnforcing rules and property protocolCollaboration with law enforcement if neededAssist with report writing and incident writingWhat you will bring to the role:With a genuine passion for people and a strong focus on their safety and wellbeing, youll bring a friendly, approachable personality and a calm, confident presence to every shift.Were looking for someone who has:Relevant experience in security and crowd controlA current Security Guard and Crowd Control licenceProven skills in conflict resolution and negotiationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer skills and confidence using standard systemsThe ability to obtain a Tasmanian Security Gaming Licence (at your own expense)Flexible availability to work across a 24/7 rotating rosterPlease note a successful applicant may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.What you can expect from us:Delicious FREE staff meals available per shift, including hot meals, salad bar, and even some sweet treatsFree tailored and laundered uniforms, no need to worry about what to wear every dayFederal Group discounts across our hospitality and tourism properties, as well as external partnersInterested?
