OverviewAlana Kaye College is a multi-award winning Registered Training Organisation (RTO70056). We cater to both domestic and international students, with campuses in Darwin, Northern Territory and Gold Coast, Queensland. We are currently seeking a Trainer and Assessor to deliver quality training and assessment in TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE skillsets and Upgrades from TAE40116 to TAE40122 to a diverse cohort of students located in Darwin. As a Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering training and assessment, curriculum / course material development, assessment of student work, and reporting of results.Be sure to review the responsibilities and qualifications below for the role.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and conducting training programs from the TAE Training PackageFacilitating and assessing student assessmentsParticipating and contributing to validation and moderation of learning resources and assessmentsAssisting students with additional support as required and provide feedback in a timely mannerStudent file management in conjunction with Training CoordinatorMaintain, develop, and modify learning resources and assessment tools as requiredParticipate in industry consultation activities and new programs as requiredSkills and QualificationsTAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or relevant higher education qualificationTAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentExperience in engaging, inspiring, and training in this sectorExperience developing and updating training packages in line with relevant industry and compliance standardsCurrent driver''s licenseHigh level organisational, administrative, and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups from a range of cultural and linguistic backgroundsKnowledge and understanding of VET compliance and standards, and commitment to undertake ongoing professional development both in the areas of training and vocational competencyClear understanding of the 2025 Standards for RTOs, and willingness to remain qualified to train and assess to groups and in the workplaceAbility to travel to remote/regional locations if requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Student Management System (VETTRAK) and Learner Management System (CloudAssess).Ability to handle multiple prioritiesHow to applyTo apply for this position please direct your resume and cover letter to *********@alanakaye.edu.au or click APPLY NOW.Be careful - Dont provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
