OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and commercially capable Business Development Manager to lead retail and wholesale growth across our premium Western Australian food and wellness brands. This is a senior role working directly alongside a Co-Founder to shape and execute domestic and international growth, aligning business development with modern marketing strategy and scalable commercial systems. This is a farm-based role in Western Australia with regular travel required. Were looking for someone skilled, strategic and serious about the food and beverage industry. You will take ownership of retail and wholesale growth, working closely with a Co-Founder to shape and execute commercial strategy.Responsibilities include:Growing and managing retail and wholesale accountsBuilding relationships with buyers, distributors and specialty retailersIdentifying new business opportunities within premium grocery and wellness sectorsMonitoring stock levels, sell-through and reorder cyclesFollowing up retail partners for performance insights and feedbackOverseeing inventory flow and coordinating cold chain logistics where requiredSupporting trade marketing, in-store activations and brand representationContributing to marketing alignment across sales channelsRepresenting the brand at trade shows and industry eventsAbout YouProven experience in food and beverage business development or FMCG retail salesDemonstrated success growing retail accounts and driving revenueStrong understanding of premium brand positioning and retail strategyCommercially minded, confident negotiating with buyers and distributorsComfortable opening new accounts and building long-term relationshipsOrganised, data-aware and attentive to inventory flow and sell-throughStrategic thinker who can contribute to marketing alignment and channel planningSelf-directed and accountable, with the confidence to operate at senior levelRequirementsMinimum 35 years experience in business development or retail sales within food and beverageExperience managing distributor relationships and retail buyersUnderstanding of stock movement, margin and promotional planningWillingness to be farm-based in Western Australia with regular travelCurrent drivers licenceFull working rights in Australia #J-18808-Ljbffr
