OverviewAs one of our Field Service Technicians, each day will not look the same! Using your company fleet vehicle and provided tools, you will visit various customer sites to ensure onsite resolutions for our customers. You will provide outstanding support and technical expertise and will be focused on delivering excellent service to our customers in your assigned territory. Reporting to your Territory Manager and as a key member of our South Pacific Field Services team; you will undertake regular in-depth product training when you start with us, along with ongoing access to our global Technical Support Services. With career development a focus, opportunities throughout the business periodically arise, delivering mutual benefit and satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and Repair Self Check Out (SCO), Point of Sale (POS) Machines and other Voiyx products for our customersParts management and organisationContinuous training online and in classroomsWork autonomously in the field and officeMay require prolonged travel, carrying and lifting tool kit/parts of varying weights (1-20 kg); bending/squatting, walking/standing or sitting for prolonged periodsSome interstate travel may be requiredBasic QualificationsMust have PCB hardware repair experienceMinimum of 1+ years of PCB hardware repair experience is requiredExposure to software uploadsBasic familiarity with software uploads is requiredPreferred QualificationsElectro-mechanical device repair and aptitudePrevious experience with Self-Serve Checkout repairs or installTo be successful for this role, you must havePassion for new technologyWilling to travel and complete service calls as assignedAble to work autonomously, professionally and be an excellent communicatorValid Australia State Driver''s licenseFully COVID vaccinatedExperience with electromechanical equipmentHigh attention to detailA valid Permanent Residence or CitizenshipBe located in Australia and able to commence work within a Non-Standard Days (Saturday/Sunday)Be careful - Dont provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
