Overview Hourly Rate Range: $27.35 - $34.78 (plus Super & NFP Salary Packaging) Location: Jambinu (Geraldton) genU is looking for Support Workers who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement. Were recruiting for multiple permanent (60+ hours per fortnight) and casual roles. Shifts run between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday, with possible overnight shifts. Please indicate your work preference in your application. Responsibilities Support person-centred plans that identify a customers life goals and working to achieve them Join customers in the community and do recreational activities Support customers in accommodation with daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting, medication administration and attending appointments Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and Administration duties and mandatory reporting Qualifications An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities; Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience; Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships; Ability to follow person centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes; Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) - beneficial; A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate) (Youll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate but dont worry, well help guide you through this.)
