Our Pilbara Community Alcohol and Drug Service (PCADS) delivers evidence-based, culturally secure AOD support to individuals, families, and communities across the region. Our PCADS delivers evidence-based, culturally secure AOD support and collaborates with local stakeholders to improve wellbeing across the Pilbara region.About the RoleWe are seeking a Counsellor Educator to join our PCADS team in South Hedland on a fixed-term contract. In this role, you will deliver therapeutic interventions, education, and support to people experiencing AOD use and related harms. Youll conduct assessments, develop personalised recovery or treatment plans, and facilitate both individual and group sessions. Working within a trauma-informed and culturally secure framework, you will empower clients to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and make positive, sustainable changes.
