The business operates across approximately 4,000 hectares, with 2,000 hectares dedicated to cropping and 2,000 hectares for livestock production. The farm manages 9,000 breeding ewes and runs a feedlot operation for up to 40,000 lambs, making it a significant agricultural operation in the region. The business prides itself on modern farming practices, strong animal welfare standards, and efficient machinery operations. About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for a Diesel Motor Mechanic to join a progressive farming operation. Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines and agricultural machinery Maintain tractors, harvesters, loaders, and other farm equipment Conduct preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing Identify mechanical faults and implement effective repairs Assist with the operation of farm machinery during cropping and harvest seasons Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and maintenance records Qualifications Trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics (or equivalent) Experience working with agricultural or heavy machinery Ability to diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a farm team Valid drivers licence Be careful - Dont provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
