Weve got a great shop waiting for a great group of friends.The role of Volunteer Retail Shop Assistant involves:Processing sales on register (cash and eftpos)Sorting and categorizing donationsQuality control and ensuring good quality products for saleSteaming clothingPricing, hanging and displaying stockFilling shop displays from excess in backroomCustomer service greeting and assisting customersGeneral housekeeping dutiesOrganise for returns to be sent back to the warehouseMaintaining an organized and tidy back roomOpening and closing proceduresChanging mannequins outfitsAll this while having fun with fellow volunteers, engaging with customers, getting an informed look into the inner workings of an op shop and amazing charity organisation.Note: this is a Volunteer Position and is not paid.
