For nearly 70 years, we have been empowering ageing Australians to lead their most meaningful lives by recognising old age as a positive force in society and giving a voice to those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale.Were on a mission to create a better world not just for ageing Australians, but their communities as well, and we believe that to make this difference, you need the right people by your side.We are currently seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to provide care and support to our residents at Bethanie Waters Aged Care Home located in Port Kennedy.As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide hands-on care to residents while supporting a multi-skilled team with a focus on learning and safety.This is a permanent part time role, and you will be available to work a range of morning and afternoon shifts from Monday to Thursday.If you share a passion for person-centred care services and promoting a positive ageing experience for older people, we would love to hear from you!About YouCurrently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled NursePrevious experience in an aged care environment or with dementia care is an advantage, but is not essentialAbility to work independently and professionallyAbility to motivate staff and promote a positive work environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to confidently use clinical information systemsWillingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie GroupWillingness to obtain relevant vaccinationsCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)The RoleCarrying out personal care plans in consultation with and under the supervision of a Registered NurseConsulting with a Registered Nurse in planning care on a shift basisAssisting in assessing residents and ensuring all documentation is up to date and in accordance with company requirementsContributing to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of residentsCommunicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders and contributing to teamwork within the workplaceParticipating in ongoing learning and development, both individually and as part of a larger teamWorking with BethanieMany of us work because we want to make a difference.
