If you have an interest in making a difference, working closely with inmates at Roebourne Regional Prison, contributing to changing their lives after release and sustainability in their communities, this is the opportunity to do so.PositionsPost-Release Officers Wickham, Roebourne, Karratha areasCasual Transport Officer - pickup is from Roebourne Regional Prison to Pilbara regionsNote: These positions do not come with housingResponsibilitiesAssess the transition and reintegration needs of prisoners within required timeframes to determine appropriate programs, services and referrals for meeting their pre-release needs.Provide clients with practical transition and reintegration assistance.Schedule and facilitate client information sessions/workshops.Case management of clients.Accurately manage data entry and provide written reports as required.Transporting ex-offenders back to their communities in the Pilbara Region (as applicable).Report any damage, defect or repairs needed to the vehicle and maintain the vehicle in a clean condition.Maintain proper recording procedures (e.g., daily journals, time records, client data, fuel, and other records).Qualifications and RequirementsHold a current and valid WA driving license with an excellent driving record.Current/valid Senior First Aid certificate with CPR component renewed every year.Medically fit to travel long distances (physically & mentally) and to operate a 4WD vehicle.Must have the ability to lift 50+ lbs on a regular and consistent basis.4WD Training Certificate - paid for by PCSL.Food and accommodation costs are covered by the company.As part of our Employment screening process you will be required to undertake Department of Corrective Services Criminal History Check.Applicants are required to obtain Senior First Aid certificate/CPR and Working With Childrens check.
