OverviewWe have an additional opportunity for an experienced Surveillance Officer to work in the field of road repairs for flood remediation works, based at Moree. You will be undertaking on-site surveillance and be the primary contact point for contractors engaged for the project.Please note: applicants must have previous experience with rural road construction experience, ideally having worked on road projects in rural NSW or QLD.Ideally, applicants will have previous experience in the construction of roads - both sealed and unsealed as well as related drainage systems. Prior exposure to reactive soil (black soil) environments would be highly advantageous.You will be traveling across the Moree shire area on a daily basis, with weekly check-ins with the senior project management team. Ability to work autonomously and apply your judgement will be essential. Applicants must have the ability to read and understand contractual and technical documents, interpret design drawings and have confidence to speak with contractors regarding issues requiring attention.Applicants must be located in the Moree area and be available to work full time hours on a Monday to Friday basis.
