We are committed to innovation, quality, and sustainability, fostering strong relationships and contributing to our community.Role OverviewEllenby Tree Farm is looking for a motivated Chemical Spray Operator to help protect and maintain the health of our trees. This is a hands-on role responsible for applying herbicides, pesticides and fertilisers safely and accurately across our production areas.Youll play a key role in pest and weed control, plant health management and maintaining high-quality nursery stock. Were looking for someone reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working independently in an outdoor environment.If you enjoy practical work, structured routines and being part of a professional production team, wed love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesApply herbicides, pesticides and fertilisers safely and accuratelyFollow scheduled spray programs to maintain plant health and qualityMix and handle chemicals in accordance with label and safety requirementsMonitor crops for pests, weeds and diseaseMaintain spray equipment and ensure compliance with safety standardsWork independently while supporting overall production targetsQualificationsCurrent Chemical Handling Certificate (Chemcert 3) or willingness to obtainPrevious spraying or agricultural experience preferredStrong understanding of safety and compliance proceduresAbility to work independently and follow scheduled programsPhysically fit and comfortable working outdoors - Extreme weather conditionsReliable, detail-oriented and proactiveWhy Join Us?Competitive pay and benefits.Supportive team with growth opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
