We are committed to raising up gospel-hearted leaders to build healthy churches, which will reach and serve cities with the gospel of Jesus.The Administration Coordinator will provide a vital administrative ministry to further the mission of City on a Hill Geelong through providing administrative coordination and essential support to the Geelong staff team. The Administration Coordinator will provide administrative direction to support staff in their various ministries, oversee the safe and effective management of our building, and be responsible for incoming and outgoing church communication.The Administration Coordinator will be based in Geelong and will report to the Executive Pastor. This is a paid, permanent part-time position of two days per week.Manage incoming communication on behalf of the City on a Hill Geelong staff team, including email, phone and mail.Management of the City on a Hill Geelong calendar.Documentation, venue coordination and communications for events, including weddings and funerals at the church.Coordination of general administrative processes (eg. Sunday Service communication, weekly newsletter, staff meeting minutes; banking etc).General office duties, including management of office systems, upkeep and repairs of general office equipment (photocopier), ordering stationery etc.Oversee adequate stocking of office and kitchen supplies as required.Be a valued participant in community life at City on a Hill Geelong and the wider City on a Hill Movement.Key skill, competency and character requirementsA demonstrated love for Jesus and his people.Willingness to commit to the vision and mission of the church as a member of City on a Hill Geelong.Live a committed, prayerful, holy life of dependence on God in Christ.A gospel confidence that boldly trusts in Gods saving power while seeking to innovate in order to mature existing people and reach new people through ministry.Able to communicate clearly, manage time effectively, and self-direct in order to fulfil duties efficiently.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.Able to maintain trust and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.All City on a Hill staff must hold a current Working with Children Check, complete a National Police History Check that returns no disclosed outcomes that would exclude them from the role, and uphold the standards outlined in the City on a Hill Code of Conduct.ApplyTo apply for the role please send your current resume along with an application letter addressing the key skills, gifting and character requirements to [email protected].
