Alpha Electrics & Water is seeking a motivated Store/Warehouse Trainee to join our team. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods in and out of our warehouse and supporting daily workshop operations.About the RoleReporting to the State Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with warehouse operations, stock control, freight handling, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming goods, unload, unpack and check deliveries against purchase ordersPrepare goods for dispatch and complete associated paperworkLoad and unload trucks and courier vehiclesUpdate the inventory management system and assist with stock controlComplete stock replenishment reports and rolling stocktakesManage incoming and outgoing freight logisticsMaintain warehouse, yard and surrounding areas to a high standardConduct basic vehicle checks on trucks, trailers and forkliftsAssist with deliveries and pick-ups when requiredSupport workshop staff with basic Trade Assistant tasks where neededPromote and maintain strong safety practices within the workplaceAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and enjoys working as part of a team.To be successful in this role you will ideally have:Forklift Licence (essential)Drivers Licence (essential)MR Licence (desirable)Good attention to detailStrong work ethic and positive attitudeAbility to work safely and follow proceduresWillingness to learn and undertake trainingWhy Join Alpha Electrics & Water?Work with a well-established Tasmanian businessSupportive team environmentOpportunities for training and developmentHands-on role with variety across warehouse and workshop operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
