Litigation - Commercial Attorney in Perth, Western Australia Job Responsibilities: Provide legal services to a diverse range of clients, including local, national, and international companies, government agencies, insurers, and high net worth individuals. Engage directly with clients, counsel, experts, and opponents on various disputes. Handle a broad spectrum of litigious disputes, acting for both plaintiffs and defendants. Work on complex contractual and commercial disputes. Address statutory claims, including those under the Australian Consumer Law, the Corporations Act, and the ASIC Act. Manage professional negligence and directors and officers liability claims. Deal with large value property damage claims. Provide insurance coverage advice and manage indemnity disputes. Conduct regulatory and disciplinary investigations and prosecutions. Handle construction, mining, and resources disputes, including significant Australian infrastructure projects. Collaborate with Partners and Special Counsels, and work with colleagues across different States and Territories to expand professional networks and legal expertise. Education and Experience Information Candidates should ideally have graduated within the past two years. A willingness to learn and contribute to the success of the team is essential. The position requires a proactive approach and motivation to achieve exceptional results for clients. Candidates should possess a professional and positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and an understanding of civil practice and procedure, particularly in the Supreme and District Courts of Western Australia.
