We are one of Australias most successful Aboriginal businesses that is 100% owned by members of the traditional owner group Eastern Guruma.As a Contractor, we have successfully delivered diverse projects and services for Australias leading mining companies, resulting in continuous growth with a focus on diversity engagement.Our people are our most valuable assets, as such, we support and invest in your professional development.About the RoleThe Indigenous Recruitment Officer will lead and coordinate Indigenous recruitment activities while building strong relationships with candidates, communities and employment partners.You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end recruitment, building Indigenous talent pipelines and supporting culturally safe recruitment processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Indigenous recruitment activities across Eastern Guruma operationsManage end-to-end recruitment processes including advertising, screening, interviews and onboarding supportBuild and maintain Indigenous candidate pipelines for current and future opportunitiesEngage with Indigenous communities, training organisations and employment servicesRepresent Eastern Guruma at recruitment events, employment expos and community engagement activitiesSupport recruitment reporting, workforce participation tracking and pipeline developmentContribute to ongoing improvements in culturally safe recruitment and candidate experienceAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring strong relationship-building skills and a passion for supporting Indigenous employment outcomes.Must be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander personExperience in recruitment, employment services, workforce development or community engagementStrong understanding of culturally appropriate engagement with Indigenous candidates and communitiesExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsHighly organised with the ability to manage recruitment processes and candidate engagementPositive, proactive and solutions-focused mindsetCertificate IV or Diploma in Human Resources, Business, Community Services or similarCurrent C Class Drivers LicenceExperience recruiting within mining, civil, labour hire, facilities management or related industriesExperience using HR or recruitment systemsWhat We OfferPermanent full-time positionMonday to Friday rosterHead Office based (Perth CBD)Up to $110,000 per annum plus superOpportunities for development and advancementA supportive and collaborative work environmentEmployee wellness programs and initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr
