Perfectly positioned as the gateway to the Dandenong Ranges, the Yarra Valley Food & Wine District, the Mornington Peninsula, Phillip Island, and in the heart of lively Glen Waverley, our hotel attracts both business and leisure travellers seeking comfort, convenience, and exceptional service.We are now seeking an experienced and driven Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team.Job DescriptionAs a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring our property is presented to the highest standard of cleanliness, organisation, and guest readiness. You will support the Housekeeping Assistant Manager in guiding the team, maintaining procedures, and ensuring our guests enjoy a consistently outstanding stay.Responsibilities:Assist the Assistant Housekeeping Manager in the daily checking of rooms and designated team member areas to maintain standardsInspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the hotels cleanliness and maintenance standardsTrain, mentor, and support housekeeping team members to ensure consistency and productivityHandle guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping servicesEnsure the efficient use of cleaning supplies and equipmentReport and follow up on maintenance issues to ensure quick resolutionEnsure adherence to hotel policies, hygiene procedures, and safe work practicesCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfactionQualificationsTo be successful in this role you will:Minimum of 2 years experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory roleKnowledge of cleaning and sanitation process and standardsStrong leadership and communication skills in a multicultural environmentsExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standardsStrong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environmentFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidaysKnowledge of hotel-specific cleaning procedures and safety protocol is a plusAdditional InformationWhy Work for Accor?We are far more than a worldwide leader.
