The company operates nationally with facilities in Shepparton (Head Office), Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and Perth.Challenger Valves & Actuators are currently seeking a fulltime, motivated and reliable Junior Storeperson to join their growing Shepparton team. This generalist position plays a key role in assisting with the daytoday running and support of the warehouse.ResponsibilitiesAssist with valve assembly and assembly tasksCollect parts and restock valve componentsAssist with pretesting and final testingUndertake basic machining and repairsManage incoming and outgoing freightMaintain stock presentation and rotationOperate a forkliftAssist with stocktakeGeneral cleaning and maintenance of the warehouseQualifications and RequirementsHighly selfmotivated with a strong willingness to learnStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work unsupervisedEfficient, accurate and capable of multitasking with rapid task switchingTeam player with pride in workSound administration and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)Good physical health to meet job requirementsHighrisk work licence (forklift) or willingness to obtain oneCurrent and valid divers licenceFull eligibility to work in AustraliaIdeally, the candidate is looking to start a career within storage or warehouse services, manufacturing and/or the water or irrigation industry.
