We are an independently owned and operated Furniture Repurposing and Recycling company currently running a large warehouse in Embleton. We operate two companies, e Furniture Repurposing and e Extinguisher Recycling. Our specialty is reducing landfill, by on-selling and donating Furniture as well as recycling Fire Industry waste. Main Duties Retail sales assist customers in the store, providing information about products and helping them make informed purchasing decisions. Store support oversee 1 or 2 junior staff with daily operations, including inventory management and store organisation. Customer service deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Listing furniture accurately listing second-hand furniture products for sellers, ensuring all details are correct and appealing. Open and close the business independently. To be successful Able to work weekends only Saturday and Sunday 10am to 3pm Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills. Competent physical ability to help move furniture around the warehouse. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Proficiency in using technology. Have your own transport to get to and from work. What is on offer Permanent part-time position or Casual Full training for the right candidate. Working predominantly with Second Hand Furniture and Fire Industry waste, in our first complete year of business, we successfully redirected 100 tonne of furniture and 500 tonne of Fire Industry waste from landfill. Our team of recycling staff complete 2-3 furniture collections a day. Sorting, cleaning, repairing, donating and listing for sale the furniture that was destined for landfill; re-homing pre-loved furniture and household items from all walks of life. Our Embleton warehouse is filled to the brim with household furniture, office desks, kitchen appliances and crockery. Anything you can think of, we probably have! Open to the general public 7 days a week, affordable and unique furniture is ready for its new home.
