The opportunity: Expression of Interest FIFO Chef Specialising in Traditional Chinese Cuisine We are seeking talented Chefs with expertise in Traditional Chinese Cuisine to join our team on a Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) basis from Perth Airport to our remote sites across Western Australia. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals across Breakfast, Crib, and Dinner services, while upholding ISSs reputation for excellence and creating memorable dining experiences that consistently exceed expectations. To be considered: Culinary Expertise - Demonstrated experience and skill in preparing Traditional Chinese dishes. Minimum of 3 years experience preparing specialised Chinese cuisine Must have Australian Trade Qualification of Commercial Cookery Certificate 3 or higher Proven experience as a chef in high-volume catering, including bulk meals and banquet or function service Experience in mining village operations (Desirable) Must have a strong ability to meet client expectations for food quality, presentation, and strict adherence to food safety and HACCP standards Unrestricted work rights in Australia Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one Must pass a Pre-employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
