Alphazeta has a collaborative and inclusive culture, with regular team social events that help build strong connections.About the RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Graduate to join and contribute to our growing team, in delivering a wide range of projects with and for our clients.The role will require you to communicate clearly and concisely to a broad range of audiences, have an understanding of industry trends, have the ability to interpret and apply standards, codes and local regulatory authority requirements, be a team player with a positive attitude and delivery focused to ensure repeat business and sustainable growth.The role will require occasional travel to and from sites autonomously or with Alphazeta team members.Alphazeta is progressive, agile and open with career development and progression and are prepared to invest in our employee''s careers to assist in achieving their professional aspirations.You must be currently based in Australia with full working rights to be considered for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertaking basic Electrical Services design and calculations for:LV DistributionPowerCommunicationsSecurityDry FireEV ChargingUndertake coordination with external and internal design team members and built formsInterpret and apply Clients and Stakeholders Electrical services requirements and design guidelinesCommunicate with Senior and Intermediate Electrical Services Engineers to interpret their high-level concept designs and reverse briefsUndertake continuous learning and familiarisation with Australian Standards, National Construction Code, etc. to assist with delivering quality outcomes to our clients in the form of detailed documentation and efficient technical solutionsInterpreting local regulatory authorities including Western Power and NBN requirementsLiaison with Builders and Electricians before, during and after construction through site meetings, correspondence and documentation reviewsDevelop an understanding of other design team members designs and how they impact Electrical servicesParticipate in technical due diligence inspections, assisting with input on existing Electrical services and infrastructureWork to agreed timelines and required deliverables to meet, and exceed Clients and Stakeholders'' expectationsMaintain existing Client relationships through your performance to ensure their repeat business.QualificationsAn Electrical Engineering degree recognised by Engineers Australia.A minimum 0-2 years of demonstrated experience in Electrical services design in Australia or designing to applicable Australian StandardsWorking towards understanding building classifications in the National Construction Code of AustraliaIntelligible verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team and autonomouslyManage your time to complete multiple projects/tasks simultaneously meeting internal and external deadlinesAttention to detail and ability to actively participate in QA/peer reviews with Intermediate and Senior Electrical EngineersBasic to introductory level proficiency with AutoCAD for electrical engineering design workBasic to introductory level proficiency with Bluebeam for document management and markupExperience with Excel and WordAbility to interpret and apply Western Power requirementsExposure and basic design experience in LV Distribution and Communications #J-18808-Ljbffr
