Our 12-month program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the pharmacy profession.Program StructureOur 12-month program includes full day of monthly training sessions, covering a wide range of topics such as clinical pharmacy, retail management, pharmacology, and Over-The-Counter product knowledge. These topics are broken down into 11 manageable interactive sessions during of the years program.Practical Experience: Interns gain hands-on experience in various clinical services and retail pharmacy operations. This practical training is designed to complement the accredited Intern Training Program, and will include assisting with scripts, dispensing medication, providing customer service and advice on medications, inventory control as well as other administrative duties in the pharmacy.Support and Resources: Interns have access to exclusive exam resources, practice oral exams with immediate feedback, and ongoing support from program facilitators and coordinators. Each intern is also assigned a dedicated onsite preceptor.Career Pathways: Upon completion there are extensive employment opportunities within Chemist Warehouse.
