Co-located with a retirement village,Bethanie Fields is a 160 bed facility designed specifically toprovide support for people who need 24 hour care, including thosewith special care needs and dementia.As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for clinical careand case management. Supervision, direction and leadership ofnursing and care / support staff will also be part of yourrole.This role is available on a permanent, part timebasis working 27 hours per week. The workpattern is as follows:Week1: Monday 15.00-21.45, Tuesday 15.00-21.45 Wednesday15.30-21.30 Thursday 15.00-21.45 and Friday 15.30-21.30Week 2: Monday 15.00-21.45 Tuesday 15.30-21.30 Thursday15.00-21.45 Friday 15.00-21.45 and Saturday 15.00-21.45About YouCurrently registered with the Australian HealthPractitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a RegisteredNurseCurrent CPR (HLTAID009) Certificate (or willingness toobtain one)Relevant clinical experience in an aged care environment isan advantage, but is not essentialAbility to work independently and professionallyAbility to motivate staff and promote a positive workenvironmentStrong written and verbal communication skills and abilityto confidently use clinical information systemsWillingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of TheBethanie GroupWillingness to obtain relevant vaccinations (minimum of onecovid and annual flu)Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness toapply for one)The RoleTake immediate action to ensure nursing care is deliveredin a safe and effective manner, while providing direction toEnrolled Nurses and Care WorkersComplete assessment and / or admission requirementsMaintain an effective referral system to senior nursingstaff, medical staff and / or allied health staffEnsure that clinical records reflect care, in line with allaccreditation standards and legislative requirementsProvide mentoring and training to employees whererequiredWorking with BethanieMany of us work because we want to make a difference.
