Technical Supervisor Perth Airport Daifuku Oceania Daifuku Oceania is a subsidiary of Daifuku, a global business with over 13,000 individuals worldwide, delivering material handling automation, baggage handling services, self-service technology, and intralogistics solutions to our partners worldwide. Daifuku is seeking a driven and experienced Technical Supervisor to lead operations at Perth Airport, overseeing one of Australias most critical airport baggage handling systems. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient performance of the Baggage Handling System (BHS), while supporting and developing a high-performing technical team. About the Role As the Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Leading and supervising a team of technicians across a 24/7 operation Ensuring system availability meets or exceeds contractual KPIs Driving strong safety performance and compliance with site procedures Managing preventative and corrective maintenance activities Supporting operational performance during peak periods Coordinating contractors and key stakeholders, including airport and airline partners Identifying continuous improvement opportunities across maintenance and system performance Supporting reporting requirements and performance analysis This role requires someone who can balance technical capability with strong people leadership, maintaining standards while fostering a positive and accountable team culture. About You To succeed in this role, you will have: Experience supervising maintenance teams in an industrial, airport, or automated environment Strong mechanical and/or electrical trade background with relevant trade qualification Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a high-pressure, operational environment A strong safety mindset with a commitment to compliance and risk management Experience working within KPI-driven or contractual environments Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive, solutions-focused approach Requirement for a current and clear drivers license Experience in detailed electrical and control system operation and maintenance with PLC fault finding, SCADA systems and Asibus - Desirable Why Join Daifuku?
