OverviewSecurity Technician - Installer role at Borg. Crossmuller are seeking experienced Electricians to join our Electrical Contracting team, based in Somersby.ResponsibilitiesWork within the Electrical team on a range of disciplines including Commercial, Industrial, maintenance installations and servicing of electronic security equipment.Install, service and commission electronic security systems with focus on high-quality workmanship.Liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract works.Work effectively as part of a team and independently; adapt to changing environments and schedules.mentor/train apprentices to develop trade skills.Interpret electrical and architectural drawings; install Structured Cabling Systems; basic computing troubleshooting.QualificationsA current NSW Driving LicenceCurrent WHS white cardAbility to interpret electrical and architectural drawingsKnowledge of installing Structured Cabling SystemsWillingness to train apprentices with a positive attitudeSecurity Class 2 Licence (not essential but must be eligible to obtain)Experience with CCTV Install & Commissioning is highly regardedExperience with Security Alarm / Access Control Install & Commissioning is highly regardedDesirable/Additional QualificationsElevated Work Platform LicenceConfined SpaceEmergency First Aid / CPRWorking at HeightsLow Voltage Release and RescueExposure to Milestone CCTV systems or Integrity security systemsTechnical Security TrainingOpen Cablers LicenseElectrical LicenseRelevant trade qualificationKnowledge of AS/NZS standards listed in the original descriptionRequirements & Other DetailsThis is a full-time permanent position within our Electrical team.
