Key points we foundJoin an established installation team as an Autoglazier.Perform automotive glass assessments, removals, installations, and calibrations.Maintain high-quality workmanship and customer interaction.About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Autoglazier to join our established installation team based in Prospect. This is a handson trade role involving the assessment, removal, installation, and calibration of automotive glass across a variety of vehicle types. You will work closely with experienced senior technicians while maintaining individual responsibility for workmanship quality, safety outcomes, and professional customer interaction. The role suits someone who values precision trade work, takes pride in highquality finishes, and enjoys contributing to a supportive and professional team environment.Employment ConditionsStandard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pmSaturday work may be required based on operational demandCombination of workshopbased and mobile service workKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssessing automotive glass damage and determining appropriate repair or replacement solutionsRemoving damaged or broken windscreens, windows, and glass panels using specialised tools and approved techniquesCleaning, preparing, and conditioning vehicle apertures to ensure correct bonding and adhesionApplying adhesives, sealants, and fixing compounds to install automotive glass securely and accuratelyInspecting, fitting, and replacing seals, moulds, trims, and associated componentsTesting completed installations for leaks, air noise, alignment, and overall functionalityPerforming vehicle calibrations, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), where requiredTaking full responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and safety of completed workProviding clear and professional advice to customers on postinstallation care and maintenanceMaintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment in line with WHS requirementsAccurately recording materials used, time spent on jobs, and any additional services providedWearing and maintaining appropriate personal protective equipment at all timesSkills and ExperienceProven experience and a relevant qualification in automotive glass repair and replacementConfidence working with windscreens, adhesives, sealants, trims, and calibration equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to precision workmanshipAbility to work independently while contributing positively to a team environmentSound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements in a trade settingProfessional communication skills with a customerfocused approachMandatory RequirementsAvailability to work standard weekday hours, with flexibility for occasional SaturdaysWillingness to follow company procedures, safety standards, and quality expectationsPreference will be given to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents.Stay Safe While Job HuntingWe vet all employer accounts and do our best to keep job ads safe, but scams can still occur.
