We believe in work-life balance and give you the freedom to excel while growing both personally and professionally.As a Maintenance Mechanic, you''ll be the go-to expert ensuring that equipment, systems, and tools across the Harvey facility run safely and efficiently. You''ll use your hands-on mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to keep our operations running at peak performance.What You''ll Be Doing:Perform preventive maintenance tasks and complete work orders across plant systemsDiagnose and repair 1-phase and 3-phase equipment including pumps, agitators, compressors, and packaging linesMaintain instrumentation such as flow meters, level meters, switches, transmitters, and sensorsResolve faults in PLC-controlled systems, including valves and automation interlocksEnsure compliance for facility systems like fire suppression, boilers, and elevatorsConduct welding and piping assembly for system fabrication and repairsMaintain and repair mobile equipment including forklifts, aerial lifts, and pallet jacksFollow all site safety protocols and work permit proceduresAddress ASRS fault codes and interface with Savannah warehouse management systemPerform electrical installations and repairs on motors, drives, valves, lighting, and instrumentationTroubleshoot fault alarms and collaborate with operations to support the FT Batch programWhat We''re Looking For:Experience: 5+ years in maintenance or industrial repair rolesEducation: High school diploma or GED required; Technical school certification a plusSkills:Proficiency in automation, fabrication, welding, and pipingStrong background in hydraulic and pneumatic systemsElectrical and plumbing system knowledgeAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics (single line, ladder diagrams, isometric, cross-sectional)Experience with PLC troubleshooting or programmingTraits: Strong communication, safety-minded, team-orientedWhy FUCHS?Competitive hourly wage based on experience and internal equityCareer growth in a high-tech, global manufacturing environmentWork on projects that challenge and expand your capabilitiesA supportive culture grounded in respect, reliability, and integrityContinuous learning and opportunity to innovateAt FUCHS, we''re more than a teamwe''re a community that moves the world forward.Ready to make an impact?
