Assistant Leading Hand at PactJoin to apply for the Assistant Leading Hand role at PactThe Assistant Leading Hand is responsible for assisting the shift Leading Hand to oversee all activities and persons within the production hall. He/she directly reports to the shift Leading Hand and works closely with and is accountable to the Site Quality Officer.Hours of Work07:00 to 15:00, MondayFridayKey ResponsibilitiesAssigning and coordinating tasks for the shift production team.Machine operationensure machines operate efficiently and produce conforming product.Conduct product testing and make necessary process adjustments when testing indicates required changes.Perform all operations in compliance with WHS requirements.Ensure compliance with Food Safety requirements.Maintain quality standards in all operations.RequirementsPrevious machine operation experience (blow moulding experience preferred, though not essential).Mechanical aptitude.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems at the root cause and make minor machine adjustments to address efficiency and product non-conformances using small hand tools.Strong focus on safety and the ability to apply methodologies to improve processes.Commitment to quality.Resultsdriven.Good written and verbal communication skills.Solid understanding of HACCP & GMP.Reliable, punctual, and available to work weekends.Holder of a current NSW forklift license or willingness to obtain one.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionManagement and ManufacturingIndustryWellness and Fitness Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
