Trade AssistantsThe PositionThis role is hands-on and requires someone with a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. The successful candidate will work closely with leading hands to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.Positions are available at our manufacturing sites in South Australia, Queensland, and Victoria.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruct switchboard frameworks as per the mechanical drawings.Ensure the base frame aligns with the drawing and meets the inspection checks.Safely and carefully install switchgearMaterials and components are inspected for quality and quality before construction.Verify that the equipment/stock being used is as per the drawing.Use of general hand tools.The CandidateWe are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and grow within the electrical trade. The ideal candidate will be a team player, demonstrate strong communication skills, and have the ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining a high standard of work.The successful applicant will preferably have:White Card (Construction Induction)Trade Assistant or labouring experience (desirable but not essential)Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectivelyBasic understanding of tools, equipment, and safety requirementsScheduleFull-time and casual positions available: Monday Friday & with overtime.Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).What we can offer:LA Group encourages a diverse and inclusive culture where your hard work and input does not go unnoticed.
