We have partnered with a wellknown manufacturing company that specializes in the manufacturing of sheet metal products specifically for HVAC systems. They are known for their professionalism & high-quality work who services commercial and industrial markets.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in duct and sheet metal fabrication with a high level commitment to health and safety.Due to growth, they require CNC Operators to join the afternoon team for an immediate start.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC laser cutting machines for cutting, drilling and shaping metal components.Interpret technical drawings and work orders to determine machine settings and specifications.Ensure machines are calibrated and adjusted correctly for accurate cuts and shapes.Own personal protective equipment (PPE)Follow all OHS policies and proceduresRequirementsAbility to work collaboratively and prioritise safetyExperience in HVAC/duct system manufacturing highly regardedFabrication skills such as welding and operating manual machines highly valuedProblemsolving skills and mechanical aptitude.You will demonstrate high level communication, organisation, planning and reporting skills, and the ability to integrate into a team environmentCompensationSalary: $85,000 - $90,000 per yearCareer progression with employee mentoring programPenalty rates apply for overtimeExperienceMinimum of 3 years experience in CNC OperationExtensive knowledge and experience in HVAC ducting fabricationPreferred QualificationsMinimum Cert 3 in sheet metal fabrication/CNC or related fieldMust have experience operating CNC machines #J-18808-Ljbffr
