As Australia''s newest uranium producer, we''re growing and looking for an experienced Health & Safety (H&S) Advisor to join our team on a 12month maximum term contract.Based at the Honeymoon mine in South Australia and reporting to the H&S Superintendent, you''ll provide comprehensive workplace health and safety support for the mine site and coordinate site safety training needs to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.This is a unique mining project requiring you to work across all areas of the operation. As a smaller operation, you''ll have the opportunity to make your mark by contributing to the development and refinement of site systems and processes and fostering a positive culture.The role will be FIFO from the Adelaide or Port Augusta, direct to site on an 8:6 roster.ResponsibilitiesAssist with and facilitate incident investigations.Prepare reports to meet internal and external requirements.Participate in and coach the team in field interactions and observations.Maintain site registers, including the online safety reporting and action management system Donesafe.Provide backtoback support for the H&S Superintendent.Facilitate and where required, develop site WHS training and competency assessments.QualificationsExtensive experience in a similar role on the owner side of mining or mineral processing.The ability to build great relationships with diverse stakeholders.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven experience in facilitating risk assessments and incident investigations.A thorough understanding of relevant legislation and statutory obligations.Experience in developing and conducting safety training and competency assessments.A Diploma in Work, Health, and Safety or equivalent.A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).What We OfferChartered flights direct to site, camp accommodation and all meals.Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support your wellbeing.Salary packaging and motor vehicle novated leasing options.Access to our incentive bonus program.Additional InformationPlease note applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of Australia.While applications must be made online, confidential enquiries are welcome by calling Donna Dittmar, Talent Acquisition Specialist on 0414 666 439.We will not be accepting agency referrals for this position.About UsBoss Energy is a publicly listed company which recently became Australia''s newest uranium producer.
