The successful candidate will contribute to research projects by designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and assisting with lab management. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of molecular biology and data science in a dynamic environment.What we will trust you withLead and execute experimental research programs independently or as part of a team.Perform mouse experiments, tissue collection, cell isolation, histological and immunohistological tissue preparation, staining, microscopy, and data analysis.Oversee laboratory operations, data management, inventory tracking, and equipment maintenance.Support PC2 laboratory management, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.Coordinate, train, and assist team members in developing laboratory techniques.Does this sound like you?Master''s degree (or equivalent experience) in molecular or cell biology.Minimum of two years'' lab experience, familiarity with PC2 labs and safety procedures.Experience leading experiments and contributing to research publications.Experience writing ethics submissions.Skilled in molecular and cellular biology techniques: sequencing library prep, cell/tissue culture, PCR, Western blotting, data analysis.Hands-on with flow cytometry and FlowJo analysis.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills.Ability to work independently and in teams across research projects.Excellent communication skills.Organized with good time-management skills.About usThe Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute is dedicated to cardiovascular disease research.
