That''s why we need a high-performing Management Accountant to join our team.RequirementsWe''re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant accounting software.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsDevelop and monitor budgets and forecastsConduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary to managementAssist in the preparation of management reports and presentationsProvide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-makingManage fixed assets register and depreciationReconcile general ledger accountsAssist with year-end preparationsPayroll ManagementOversee end-to-end payroll for all employees/contractors accurately and on timeEnsure compliance with relevant industrial awards, agreements, and legislationAdminister superannuation contributions and ensure compliance with Superannuation Guarantee (SG) obligationsPrepare and lodge PAYG withholding taxIssue Payslips and annual Payment Summaries (now Income Statements via STP)Resolve payroll-related queries from employeesMaintain accurate and confidential payroll recordsBAS (Business Activity Statement) CompliancePrepare and lodge monthly/quarterly BASEnsure accurate calculation and reporting of GST, PAYG Withholding, FBT instalments, and other relevant taxesReconcile GST accountsStay up-to-date with changes in Australian tax legislation relevant to BASLiaise with the Australian Taxation Office as requiredOther ResponsibilitiesAssist with ad-hoc financial projects as requiredContinuously identify and implement process improvementsMaintain strong internal controls and financial integrityProfessional Skills And ExperienceBachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA/CA qualification (or working towards) highly regardedProven experience as a Management Accountant with significant payroll and BAS responsibilitiesIn-depth knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax legislationProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and advanced Excel skillsBenefitsLearning allowances; because we don''t just have words on a website, we genuinely do what we say and provide educational opportunities to all (including the Cadmus team)A diverse and inclusive workplace where there are no barriers to anyone succeedingA surrounding team of mission-driven individuals who genuinely love what they doInclusivity at CadmusWe hire great people from a wide variety of backgrounds because it makes our company stronger.
