Within our logistics services business there are 17+ depots throughout Australia, allowing various development and progression opportunities.Your RoleAs our Safety Security Systems & Facilities Coordinator you will be primarily responsible for promoting a positive safety and security culture that is compliant with regulatory authorities. You will provide guidance and counsel to staff and advise peers and managers on Safety and Security issues. The role also provides administrative support to ensure depot compliance, giving a high level of responsibility.Based on the Darwin RAAF site, on Larrakia land, the role purpose includes:Implement and administer safety and security practices outlined in the Darwin Major Hazard Facility (MHF) safety reportsEnsure compliance with HSE legislation and regulationsCoordinate return to work and rehabilitation plans for staff within the regionLiaise and maintain effective relationships with Commonwealth and State/Territory Government agencies and Defence stakeholdersCoordinate depot facility management operationsConduct safety and security risk assessments and review and implement control measuresAssist internal and external auditors during depot auditsCoordinate regional meetings and ensure records are maintainedConduct HSE Toolbox briefings as directedAssist the Site Manager as required in the delivery of safety, security and systems managementYour ExperienceWelldeveloped interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to identify and assess riskAbility to develop and deliver training programsComputer literacy with a sound knowledge of the Microsoft suite of productsAbility to build and maintain relationships with a diverse variety of stakeholdersAbility to communicate verbally and in writingExperience working within a Major Hazardous FacilityReport writingInvestigations and report findings experienceExperience in a safety management roleWe Encourage You To ApplyAfter you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
