This is a fulltime opportunity, based at our research facility in Western Sydney.As a Study Manager, you will join a collaborative and highperforming research team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, managing, conducting and reporting studies specifically focused on pet health therapeutics, disease model development and implementation.ResponsibilitiesDesign study protocols, manage and conduct complex field and laboratory studies to meet global R&D project requirements and timelines.Summarize, report and interpret study data and results during and at the conclusion of animal studies.Collaborate with global research project teams, providing subject matter and operational expertise and input.Liaise with external research partners to support earlystage research.Design and implement invivo research models.Ensure scientific protocols and procedures meet regulatory, ethical, and sustainability reporting requirements.Provide timely and accurate documentation to the Animal Ethics Committee and ensure high standards of animal welfare across all animal studies.Adhere to regulatory compliance standards (e.g., VICH GCP, OECD GLP) while promoting continuous process improvement in research.Support resource planning, knowledge sharing, and peer development within the research team, fostering expertise in pet health therapeutics and disease model development.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation:Bachelor''s Degree in a sciencerelated discipline (a veterinary degree is preferred but not required).Experience:Strong understanding of research/development processes and knowledge of companion animal health and disease.Demonstrated experience in designing, conducting, and managing research studies with a focus on companion animals.Proven interest in or experience with pet health therapeutics, disease model development and implementation.Practical skills in relevant research methodologies.Skills:Excellent scientific writing and communication skills, capable of articulating complex scientific concepts.Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple studies concurrently.Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., VICH GCP or OECD GLP).Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., FDA, APVMA, EMA).Exposure to animal ethics processes and welfare protocols.Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.Experience coaching or mentoring peers in a scientific setting.Preferred QualificationsExperience acting as Investigator or Study Director in GxP, VICH GCP, or OECD GLP studies.Knowledge of animal health products, parasites, and disease models.Experience liaising with external research partners or CROs.Ability to interpret complex scientific data and translate findings into clear reports.Experience contributing to operational planning and process improvement initiatives.Additional InformationTravel: Limited travel; flexibility required for studyrelated activities.Location: Yarrandoo R&D Centre, Kemps Creek, Western Sydney (onsite role).Elanco Benefits and PerksA collaborative, valuesdriven culture that supports growth and purpose.Additional leave benefits.Recognition and reward programs.Wellbeing support (EAP).Flexible work arrangements.Elanco is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
