The company values centre around Integrity, Honesty, Equality and Ownership.About the roleThe Accounts Receivable Administrator''s primary purpose is to provide end-to-end accounts receivable support whilst maintaining a high level of attention-to-detail and accuracy at all times. You will report to the Team Leader and Accounts Receivable Manager on a day-to-day basis whilst ensuring invoicing and payments are accurate and timely, as central to the company''s value-orientated ethos. This role will suit someone who finds fulfilment and satisfaction in their work as a dedicated accounts receivable administrator.This role will suit a mature, adaptable, and detail-oriented professional who takes initiative when required and prides themselves on being a proactive problem-solver.Given the integral labour and parts competent of the role, my client is seeking an accounts professional who has worked in civil construction, earth-moving, commercial landscaping or a transferable industry.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing and collectionsPrepare and issue invoices for labour, equipment hire, and parts supplied, in line with project schedules and client agreementsReconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing queries promptlyMonitor debtor balances, follow up on overdue accounts, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure timely paymentsGenerate regular reports on accounts receivable status, and cash flow forecasts for management reviewCollaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and procurement team members to capture accurate job costings for invoicingAssist with month-end processes, including reconciliations and reportingMaintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsSupport the finance team with ad hoc tasks as requiredSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a dedicated accounts receivable roleMust have experience working in accounts receivable within civil construction, earth-moving, or commercial landscapingDemonstrated ability to maintain a high attention to detail and accuracy at all timesCompetency with accounting software, preferably XeroYou are comfortable chasing payments and following up information when requiredAbility to problem-solve, remain proactive and reactive, and take ownership of your role and responsibilitiesYou have an innate ability to recognise patterns and can suggest a way forward/take initiativeBenefits and cultureJoin a team of friendly, professional, and down-to-earth individuals who value collaboration and take pride in their work.
