Although we have expanded to build a national presence, our commitment to helping clients seize opportunities and manage risks remains unchanged.About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our Leasing team in Adelaide (the internal job title is "Leasing Assistant"). In this busy and collaborative role, you will work closely with our lawyers to support the effective management of retail and commercial leasing matters. Please note, this role does not involve direct client contact.Your responsibilities will include:Assessing new instructions and preparing files for actionReviewing, drafting, modifying and finalising retail leases and associated documentationMaintaining and updating electronic files and documents within our online platformsEnsuring administrative processes are delivered accurately, professionally and efficientlySupporting the broader team with workflow management and internal updatesGeneral administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, data entry, file administration (including efiling), and document preparationAssisting with the preparation of draft bills and opening/closing filesThis role offers a fantastic opportunity to deepen your technical expertise in leasing and develop a longterm career as a specialist paralegal.About youTo succeed in this role, you will bring:Experience working in a law firm, corporate/professional services firm, or a leasing/commercial property environmentStrong attention to detail and a professional, confident mannerIdeally, some experience preparing legal or leasing documents and correspondenceExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesA collaborative mindset and the ability to build positive working relationships within the teamA genuine interest in specialising in leasing and developing your paralegal careerA positive, cando attitude, motivation and enthusiasmMinimum typing speed of 60 wpm, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, and basic knowledge of Microsoft ExcelWhat will we offer you?Cowell Clarke offers a broad range of financial and social benefits in addition to marketleading career and professional development programmes.
