Under new ownership, the company is growing and moving into larger commercial and government projects.This is a great chance to join a business early in its growth and be part of long-term work across South East Queensland.About the RoleOur client is seeking reliable team members to join their asphalt crews. Roles include:Level handsPaver operatorsFull-time work is available for the right people, with regular overtime.Team members will work across job sites on the Sunshine Coast and throughout regional South East Queensland. Shifts are usually day shift but may include early starts, afternoon shifts, or night work.Duties may include:Operating rollers, pavers, skid steer loaders, and other equipmentRaking, shovelling, sweeping, and lining out roadsLoading and unloading materialsFilling machines with water or fuelRefilling water tanks on trucksDrilling and cutting asphaltKeeping job sites clean and safeHelping prepare and secure loadsWorking safely around asphalt machineryFollowing daily instructions from supervisorsTaking part in toolbox talks and safety activitiesAbout YouOur client is looking for people who have:A Construction White Card (or ability to obtain one before starting)A strong focus on safetyA positive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to work in all weather conditionsFlexibility to work different shift timesA team-focused approachWillingness to learn and improve skillsHighly desirable:HR or HC truck licence (manual or automatic)Experience in asphalt work or general labouringTraining and development will be provided, with the opportunity to learn new skills and grow into other roles over time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
