Teacher Aide Junior School20 hours/week : Monday to Friday 8.00am 1.00pm2. Teacher Aide Learning Enhancement, Middle Senior School7.5 hours/week : Tuesdays 7.30am 3.30pm3. Teacher Aide - Fixed termseveral short-term contracts covering leave throughout Term 1 and 24. All work undertaken as a Teacher Aide is performed under the direction and guidance of the teaching staff.About You1. Experience & Knowledge:Experience working with children in educational, care, or community settingsUnderstanding of child development and age-appropriate learning strategiesKnowledge of inclusive education practices and supporting diverse learners(For Teacher Aide Learning Enhancement) Knowledge of and/or experience implementing Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) on School Students with Disability processes.2. Skills & Abilities:Ability to follow teacher directions and implement planned learning activitiesStrong communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parentsCapacity to assist students with varying abilities and learning needsLiteracy and numeracy skills to support student learningOrganisational skills and computer literacy to prepare materials and maintain classroom resources.3. Personal Attributes:Patience, empathy, and genuine interest in student wellbeingReliability, punctuality, and professional conduct and appearanceCollaborative team player who contributes to school communityFlexibility and adaptability to changing classroom needsCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.4.
