OFX has been a trusted innovator in global money movement for over 25 years.Purpose of your roleWe are seeking a team player with an ownership mindset to join our Strategy & Corporate Development team. Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Corporate Development, the Strategy & Corporate Development Associate will work closely with the CFO and CEO, focused on the development of Places by both business unit and group-level strategy, as well as the execution of global M&A activities.What you doM&AThe Strategy and Corporate Development Associate will support on all aspects of the deal process, including sourcing, qualification, financial modelling, due diligence, document negotiation and closing activities.Deal executionConduct key quantitative analysis and financial modelling including building 3 statement models, DCF valuations, synergies assessments and returns analysis.Conduct / lead key qualitative analyses and due diligence (e.g., strategic, operational, risk and technology, etc.).Prepare presentations for the Global Executive Team and the OFX Group Board in support of deal buy-in and approvals.Lead and coordinate a cross-functional deal team within OFX, as well as third party advisors in support of deal execution.Coordinate with external financiers to evaluate, structure and execute deal funding (debt and equity).Support document negotiation and closing activities.Deal originationAssist with market research, sourcing and pipeline managementAssist with qualifying new ideas & companies for OFXStrategyThe role will support corporate and business unit strategy development:Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of the market, competitors and industry trends to inform strategic decisions (including inorganic growth strategies). This includes understanding market trends, e.g. transactions, peer valuations and preparing reports on the market.Run workstreams within strategy projects and be comfortable independently structuring, planning and running analysis.Build financial models to evaluate strategic options and lead qualitative analysis and stakeholder engagement to develop and evaluate options.Prepare presentations and materials for the Global Executive Team and the OFX Group Board.What you bringKnowledge, skills, experienceRequiredStrong analytical skills, with a fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and broad quantitative analyses and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics.Team player, proactive and action oriented, who enjoys ownership and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.Structured problemsolving and communication skills. Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, identify issues, and develop solutions proactively.Strategic thinker with desire to continuously learn / develop.Desire to work in deals globally across a spectrum of small to large deals.Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including with executives.Preferred but not requiredEndtoend execution and management of deals.Experience with financial services and / or technology.Qualifications35 years in transactional roles including but not limited to Investment Banking (incl. bulge bracket, boutiques, Big 4 advisory) and/or Corporate Development and/or toptier strategy consulting with experience in commercial due diligence.Undergraduate or graduate degree.Additional InformationWhat it''s like(doc) working at OFXWe''re OFXers because we want to make a difference.
