Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you''ll lead a skilled team of tradespeople and apprentices, overseeing all maintenance activities across the plant to ensure production runs safely and efficiently. This is a handson leadership role suited to someone who enjoys problemsolving, planning, and motivating others in a fastpaced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor and develop a team of approximately 12 tradespeople, apprentices and a greaserSupervise and monitor the quality of work by trades staff and contractorsDevelop, manage and continuously improve preventative maintenance programsControl costs and manage resources effectivelyEnsure all maintenance work complies with company policies, procedures and OH&S standardsCoordinate efficient handovers and communication between shiftsAbout YouQualified tradesperson with experience in either mechanical or electrical maintenanceProven leadership or supervisory experience within an industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong organisational, planning and communication skillsProficient with computer systems and MS OfficePractical problemsolving and analytical skillsCollaborative and adaptable, with the ability to build positive relationships across departmentsHigh attention to detail and commitment to safetyWillingness to work a 24hour rotating roster (including weekends)Interested?
