Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Job Description:This position is responsible for providing proactive practice and administrative support to the Firm''s lawyers, primarily in relation to billable client work. The role ensures that clients are serviced professionally and in accordance with the Firm''s policies and procedures. This will be a temporary position of 24 months in duration.The Practice Support Coordinator will be part of client matter teams, supporting all matterrelated processes from inception through project completion, billing, and collection. They will take full ownership of the delivery of the key responsibilities outlined below.Key ResponsibilitiesClient and matter clearance and openingAML processesDrafting and managing engagement lettersMTM maintenanceManaging associate checklistsMaintaining matter document foldersMatter project administration (from opening to closing, including setup of SharePoint sites, updating email distribution lists, supporting postclosing activities such as billing and archiving, and ensuring all appointments and conference calls are scheduled in lawyers'' calendars)Coordinating client and matterteam meetings and updatesBusiness Development SupportSupporting Partners and the BD team with business development activitiesAmending business development and clientfocused materials, including CVs, pitches, presentations, and client briefingsMonitoring BD collateral (e.g., CVs, MIS) to ensure accuracy and currency, including updates to the BD tracker and InterActionOrganising, facilitating, and providing host support for events (including virtual events)Coordinating client updatesInforming the BD team of visiting partners'' schedules and assisting with related logisticsMatter Team SupportDocument production and liaison with DPU, including:Transcribing, editing, and amending legal and other documentsConverting, comparing, copytyping, and proofreading documents to ensure compliance with house styleManaging signing pages where applicableHandling efiling and postclosing activities as requiredPreparing and distributing biblesBest Delivery / Legal Tech / KETL OpportunitiesSupporting the use of legal technology, including facilitation and management of matterspecific solutionsApplying knowledge of the Best Delivery checklistActing as a superuser for Best Delivery toolsFacilitating endofmatter reviews to identify followon opportunities such as deal reviews and KETL initiativesQualificationsMinimum of 2 years'' work experience in a similar or relevant role within a law firm or professional services environmentAble to start immediatelyPrior experience supporting a litigation and dispute resolution practice is preferredProven ability to thrive in a highperforming environmentIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointStrong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detailProactive, mature, and collaborative approach to managing work and relationships across teamsRespectful of colleagues and committed to working in an inclusive team environmentEffective at working both independently and as part of a teamDemonstrated ability to innovate and streamline processes and tasksCompany DescriptionClifford Chance is one of the world''s preeminent law firms, known for combining the highest global standards with deep local expertise.
