In this role, you''ll lead the construction team and work alongside experienced professionals to deliver a highquality renewable energy asset that plays a key part in Australia''s energy transition.INTEC is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee the fullsite delivery of the project. You will manage all field construction activities, subcontractors, quality, safety, and programme delivery while ensuring compliance with Australian regulatory requirements, technical specifications, and client expectations. This is a handson leadership role that demands strategic oversight, robust schedule and cost control, and the ability to manage complex, multidiscipline works across civil, mechanical, electrical, and HV scopes.You will act as the primary onsite interface for clients, internal stakeholders, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth coordination, timely delivery, and a safe, highquality construction environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the construction execution plan, integrating civil, PV, BESS, mechanical, electrical, and HV scopes into a unified schedule.Lead daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant, and material deliveries for optimal productivity and safety.Manage project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and change orders, ensuring delivery against key milestones.Conduct inspections and audits to ensure construction quality, compliance with design specifications, Australian Standards, and regulatory codes.Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover activities, ensuring gridconnection readiness and operational compliance.Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to site supervisors, subcontractor leads, and construction teams, fostering a strong safety and performance culture.About YouBachelor''s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent trade qualification with extensive relevant experience.810+ years of onsite construction leadership experience, ideally within utilityscale solar and/or BESS projects.Proven delivery of at least one largescale solar or hybrid PV + BESS project (50 MWac+) from mobilisation to mechanical completion/commissioning.Strong technical understanding of civil works, mechanical/electrical installation, HV substation construction, and gridconnection requirements.Experienced in project planning, scheduling (P6/MS Project), budgeting, cost control, and risk management.Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.What''s in it for youLead a landmark project take ownership of fullsite delivery for a largescale hybrid Solar PV & BESS asset that supports Australia''s clean energy transition.Professional growth work alongside experienced site, engineering, and HSEQ teams.Impact & recognition drive construction performance, quality, and safety standards while shaping the project''s success.Reward & benefits competitive salary and benefits aligned with your experience, in a supportive and safetyfocused work environment.Join INTEC Energy Solutions and play a pivotal role in delivering a highquality hybrid renewable energy project that will contribute to Australia''s clean energy future.Please note that our office will be closed for the Christmas break until 5 January 2026.
